Embarrassed to ask!

Hi NJ Gang! Dopey question - Is camping at Sandy Hook a new thing? For me to live at exit 12 on the turnpike and not know that you can camp at Sandy Hook embarrasses me. I promise not to do a naked and afraid beach camping video for June (Solstice tradition) - next up is Loyal Sock in PA anyway ( wrapping up Jenny Jump editing now- awesome spot.)

Just curious. Seems very easy backpackable to park in Highlands (at Lighthouses) and do easy 5-7 mile in/out. No mountains to climb! TJK
