NJ Hiking: Connect

A Social Network for New Jersey Hiking Enthusiasts

Looking for hikes that are known to feature very early-early spring blooming wildflowers and/or native plants or bulbs.  So far I've only been able to get out to Washington Crossing about a week or so ago and saw several large clumps of naturalized daffodils.

Any suggestions for trails in New Jersey or Eastern Pa. would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I don't have many suggestions for hike with spring blooms... we should probably pay more attention to that when we hike in the spring!

You've probably hiked from Skylands Manor in Ringwood SP, but if not, then maybe check that out. You can walk around the gardens and then get a nice hike in from the trails from it. We went last year on April 10 and things were blooming.
