Bearfort Mountain - State Line Trail
An enjoyable hike with fantastic views as the Ernest Walker Trail follows a ridge overlooking Greenwood Lake, then head to Surprise Lake, then some more views. The trail is interesting... rugged with a few decent scrambling sections.

Did this last Saturday. Quite a few cars parked alongside the road, yet saw only two other people on the trail. Love hiking the 'spine' of Bearfort. Such quiet and solitude so near busy highways. You'd never know. Lucked out w/great weather, too. How 'bout that "Donut Hole" rock near the lake?
