camping , Stokes . wednesday to fri . Planning a few hikes

Planing a few hikes , do some fishing on flat brook   .And just have fun with my son , camping at bear creek campground……Well back from 3 day camping trip . Had great time , temps in the 40's midday ,woke up to 20 degrees Thursday morn.  fishing was slow on the flat brook  . Hiked Tilmans ravine , then on to Buttermilk falls ,followed blue trial  to top then back down .  Friday checked out the tammany trail at the gap , great views of the delaware river . Now I need to buy the trail maps . Then I can see were to go .

I'm headed to Bear Creek May 3rd and 4th-never camped there before but I know the area pretty well and have heard good things.  Was this your first time camping there?  I'm hoping we have the same kind of weather.  Definitely purchase the Kittatinnies four map set from NY/NJ Trail Coalition.

SORRY FOR THE LATE REPLY,  just got back in the state. the owners name is Ken , nice guy . It was great because there was no one there. not many rule to follow ,  I think you will enjoy the camping there.  GOOD LUCK
