Yes, Three Hundred Zeroes is the story of my two-year hike of the AT. Two years because I had to take 300 "zero mile" days for a six-artery heart bypass. NJ was one of the most fun states for me for various reasons. The bears made for some very interesting and humorous events in the book. What NJ lacks in length and size on the AT, it makes up for with fabulous terrain and animal life.

Hopefully you'll have a chance to attempt a thru-hike. I say "attempt" because it is a challenge and most find it more of a mental challenge than physical. Have fun.

Love the photos Amanda. I love it up there this time of year! Too bad I'm in Sarasota, FL, but then in February I won't regret it I guess.

The car photo was intriguing.
