Post trail/park conditions for New Jersey (as well as PA/NY) here.
Include the date, park, conditions (how much snow/ice, is it slushy, melted away...) and a trail photo if you have one.
Sharing this info helps other hikers decide if they should make the sometimes long drive to a trailhead, as winter conditions can vary greatly between different areas.
Winter hiking tips and snowfall depth resources can be found on our Winter Hiking page.

Watchung Reservation - 3/13/2011
The white-blazed Sierra Trail was dry and in pretty decent shape for about 75% of the way. The remaining 25% not so much.
My hiking shoes looked about the same. The longest stretches of slimy muck were along Lake Surprise but it was possible to navigate the wet areas.
The red-blazed Hill Top Swamp Trail is, well, a swamp.
Butler Reservoir, near Pyramid Mountain - 3/13/11. Well, we expected soggy trails this weekend and that's what we found right from the start of the hike. Lots of rock hopping, mud, and sloshing through several inches of water for large stretches of trail today.
I don't have photos of the wet trail other than below, as I didn't pull the cam out as we were picking our way through. (and this photo also shows one of the many, many occasions that this route passed near neighborhoods... not our cup-o-tea.)
Daniela,
Love them muddy paws!

Lake Lenape - Mt. Minsi - Totts Gap 3/17/11
The A.T. all the way from Lake Lenape to Totts Gap as well as all side trails and woods roads were in great shape. No mud at all even though it rained heavily yesterday.
Just one teeny little patch of ice before the summit of Mount Minsi
Out by Totts Gap there were a few patches of snow well off the trail.
