"I was told by a hiker that lives near-by that the ticks are bad at Schooleys. Did you encounter any? I certainly will give your hike there a try, sounds like a good place to take people that want to go hiking with me, but never hike!"

Fire in Worthington State Forest in Delaware Water Gap

I heard about the fire and called ranger Dan on Friday. He was helpful and assured me that "everything will be open by the end of the day." . Must have been a pretty good fire. We went up there today, Satuday, and there were lots of people enjoying a beautiful day. It smelled a little smoky down near Rt. 80, but that could have been the campfires. Hikes around Blue Mt.
