Last spring some buddies and I did fun trip to the DWG and camped at Bear Creek. The accommodations were pretty much primitive, but its still a campground with people nearby, etc... Next year I'd like to go up there, park somewhere, and do a loop on the Appalachian, overnighting at Hemlock Pond, and returning to the cars the next day.
