Walking along the Spruce Run in Micquin Woods this morning, things are still looking pretty wintery, looking closer, however, there are Skunk Cabbages coming up! Can Spring be far behind?

Anyone else seeing hopeful signs?

I thought it felt like spring was on it's way this week - the sun was out, the birds seemed to be singing more, and the air had that certain quality it gets in spring, like it was ready to warm up. Or perhaps it was just wishful thinking...

I ran outside to look and sure enough, now that the snow has melted, daffodils and tulips are coming up!  Yay!
