New Years Day hike

Anyone planning to do a New Years day Hike?  I thinking of heading up to the AT

What section you thinking of Al? I presume you're looking for people to join up for a group hike?

I was thinking of the sections that go thru Stokes or High point.

I am thinking of a couple days. I do not know where to start or end.  The temps in the long range forecast seem ok.  I would like to start at one spot and get a shuttle back or get a ride to the start and hike to the car.

I am going to start from the Mohican Center on Thursday the 12/26/2013.  So it now became a last hike of the year.  If anyone would like to go let me know.
