Weekend Hike

I want to go out the last weekend in March, I am just not sure where to go. I do know I want to go along the AT. I did the section from Brink road to High Point. I don't like the fact that there is no open fires at the shelter in NJ. I am thinking I will go out on Saturday morning early and return Sunday. Probably do about 15 to 20 miles. Give me some suggestions please.See More

"I am thinking of a couple days. I do not know where to start or end. The temps in the long range forecast seem ok. I would like to start at one spot and get a shuttle back or get a ride to the start and hike to the car. "

I am going up to Stokes next weekend with my son, this will be his first overnight. I am not sure if we will stay at the shelter or at a camp site. how busy is the AT at this time of year in that area.See More
