I don't know about everyone else out there, but I am Very excited about warmer weather this year. I'll be taking advantage of all the killer info on this site to make sure I have some fun things to do each weekend.
Anyone have an plans? My first simple hike will be Cheesequake. I just love a nice springtime walk/hike through the park. Then from there, I plan on heading north. Maybe some Jenny Jump? And then, by April, I plan to kick the butt of Wawayanda. Or maybe it'll kick mine. Either way, I'll be there :)
Keep up the great work here.

We're ready for Spring too. We like winter hiking, but it's been a little over the top this year.
Really recommend Minsi - nice hike + if you have binocs or a telephoto lens you can look over at Tam and see the hikers on summit. Neat perspective to see where you were at when on top of Tammany.
Other good ones: Bearfort Ridge, Terrace Pond, any trail in Harriman, Pyramid Mountain Tripod Rock, Ramapo Mountains Van Slyke Castle, Norvin Green Wyanokie High Point... So many hikes, so few weekends....
Anyway, better days are coming, and I'm going to take a ride up to North NJ, get my Watershed Permit and see how conditions are in that neck of the woods.
